About us

Booking and confirmation
Select an available date on our website calendar, then complete the enquiry form with your selected date. Mochilaque reviews availability and contacts you by email and WhatsApp with the next steps. After availability is accepted, Mochilaque sends the PagSeguro reservation payment link and Roca Seguros insurance instructions. Booking is confirmed only after the reservation deposit is paid through PagSeguro, insurance registration with Roca Seguros is completed, and Mochilaque sends final trip confirmation by email and WhatsApp. Keep your PagSeguro payment receipt, Roca Seguros insurance documents and Mochilaque trip confirmation. An initial enquiry does not hold a place or confirm a booking.
Insurance and equipment
Adventure insurance through Roca Seguros is required and included in the listed kayak package. Kayak, paddle, life vest and safety equipment are provided. Insurance coverage and conditions are those in the actual policy.
Price, payment and participation
Total: R$350 per person. Reservation deposit: R$150 per person. Remaining balance: R$200 per person, paid on departure. Minimum 1, maximum 2 participants total per date across all destinations. Solo guests welcome; double ocean kayaks. Minimum age 14. Maximum participant weight is 120 kg. No pets. Arrive on time and protect personal phones and cameras from water.
Included activities and optional lunch
Guided kayaking, a picnic on all three tours (Saco do Mamanguá, Paraty-Mirim and Tarituba), fruit, natural sweets, sports drinks, cold drinking water, waterproof bags and storage compartments are included. Saco do Mamanguá includes the Pico do Pão de Açúcar hike when conditions allow. An optional beach restaurant lunch, separate from the included picnic, may be arranged on request where available and is paid separately by the client.
Weather, cancellations and rescheduling
Departures are subject to suitable conditions, with winds below 20 km/h and no lightning warnings. You may reschedule or receive a refund of your reservation payment. Other unsafe sea or weather conditions may require route changes, postponement or cancellation. Contact us promptly for changes or cancellations. Specific cancellation, rescheduling and payment conditions must be provided before booking completion. Applicable consumer rights remain protected, including statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts where applicable. No undisclosed cancellation fees or waiver of lawful refunds is imposed here.
Photos and video
Trips may be photographed or filmed, and processed media may be shared with participants when available. Participation or booking does not by itself grant promotional image-use permission; any such use requires an appropriate legal basis.
Creative projects
Creative projects: A written quotation or project brief defines scope, schedule, deliverables, price, revisions and usage rights. Enquiries do not authorise work or transfer intellectual-property rights.
Site content and privacy
Site content and privacy: Original website text, photographs, videos, graphics and other creative materials created or recorded by Mochilaque Turismo e Eventos are protected by copyright. Commercial reproduction or reuse requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law. Personal information is handled under this Privacy Policy. Third-party services have their own terms.
Rights and updates
Rights and updates: Brazilian law applies without excluding mandatory consumer protections or access to competent courts. Updates do not retroactively change accepted bookings or project agreements. Contact us before confirmation with questions.

Information and purposes
Enquiries provide your name, email, phone, preferred date, destination, participant count and messages. Required insurance registration may request your full name, CPF or passport, birth date and email through the insurance process. Project enquiries may include company, brief, location, budget, schedule and deliverables. We use only details needed to respond, prepare quotes, coordinate services and maintain necessary records. Do not put unnecessary sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
Legal grounds
Processing depends on its purpose: steps you request before a contract, contract performance, legal obligations, or consent where required. Optional consent may be withdrawn without affecting previous lawful processing.
Providers and sharing
This site uses Wix, links booking enquiries to Jotform and messaging to WhatsApp, and embeds Google Maps. These providers may process interactions under their own privacy notices. Necessary details may be shared with an insurer or payment provider when arranging a requested service. Providers may process information outside Brazil, subject to applicable data-protection requirements. Contact us for relevant recipients and safeguards.
